The Brief

 A short film exploring the meaning of ‘A story to tell’. The duration being 3 minutes.

 

The Process

This film is character driven, after meeting Lucinda Lashes it is hard not to be totally immersed in what she represents. She is fun. She is bold. She is honest. We wanted a natural and personal sense to this film, and the environment in which we filmed allowed for this, conversational and intimate. Not only did we learn about Lucinda the larger than life Drag queen but we also got to meet Ben, the man behind the mask, the hard working Dad, a friend, and see how those two differing worlds intertwine and become one.

 

The Result

A proud film celebrating a person’s individuality who is unapologetically them self. The film captures just one evening of Lucinda’s life but reflects not only the act in which she provides but also the person in which she is.
