The Red Widow, directed and produced by myself as part of a first year college unit. A piece which tested my creative and technical expertise, mise-en-scene and camera movement was planned within every second of the film. Research and being intuitive to produce this piece in six weeks with no budget at this time of my media life proves the passion and dedication which is within myself to produce such as this film noir.

 

The brief was set to Level 3 college students to produce a film noir of the duration 10 – 20 minutes. The film follows conventions of those which are reflected in 1940’s noirs. Our femme fatale, Florence, and her misleading friends, Raymond and Frank soon find out the hard way that crime doesn’t pay.
