National Civil War Centre

National Civil War Centre is a large tourist attraction within Newark Town. My work with them ranges from visual to audio. Before its opening in 2015 they approached my college with the brief of producing a behind the scenes video of the production of the media content which is now in use at the centre. This was a great opportunity as not only did I produce a video for such an institute but I also got to see the production of advanced practitioners create media which would pushing boundaries in terms of equipment and interactivity. As such I was invited to the press and opening of the centre.

As part of my audio production module at university I produced an audio walk of Newark Town, specifically the the castle grounds, as part of my research Glyn Hughes, Curator of the centre was a main contributor to the piece, providing historical context which gave the work further purpose and proved to be greatly informative.
