During my time at Newark College I ran the social media pages on Twitter and Instagram, expanding the existing following on Twitter and producing an account on Instagram. The role was a big part of my time duration this chunk of my education. I would not only document the progress of students but also post about events in which we held and trips we went on. I would communicate with local businesses both through social media which then led to further work expanding my personal knowledge and skills on many different levels. Remaining professional and portraying my course in a creative and enticing way was my main self-objective. Being my course student rep I would also produce print work following the themes of the platforms to try promote the course to as many prospective students as possible.
